So there’s been a lot of rumors regarding Charlie Colkett this last months. Especially after the news reached us that he’s training with Coventry City.
Current news is that he’s no longer keeping up his pace with the Championship club according to the Östersund sporting director Adil Kizil. (Swedish news article in fotbolltransfers.com)
Charlie is still in England and his future is still unknown. What we do know is that his contract with Östersunds FK reaches to June 30, 2022.
My best guess is that his player agent (Closeview Sports Management) is working hard to find Charlie a new club in England within this summers transfer window.
Since hes under contract with Östersunds FK there is of course also a big possibility that he returns to Sweden to fulfill his duty with the club later this summer. That would please a lot of ÖFK-fans.
The leave of absence from Östersunds FK is said to be due to family issues.
What ever happens I wish Charlie a great summer and hopefully things works out for the best for everyone involved.
